July Freebie An average Joe's quest to improve his golf score begins with meditation and leads him toward what everyone who plays golf eventually discovers--the mystical connection between golf and spirituality. The author, who sounded so fun when I first heard him interviewed on Only A Game, came across as sort of a jerk in his book. If I set aside that impression plus his excessive use of the "F" word, I have to admit that I loved learning about the multitude of golf philosophies out there.
