My wanderlust is an inherited illness that helped map a career as varied as Joseph’s amazing technicolor dreamcoat. (Hey, I’m still married to the same guy after nearly 20 years.) Today I follow my true passions, writing for businesses and being a perpetual student of life.
While meandering through professions (I call them learning experiences) I completed a bachelor’s in public relations, a master’s in library science, and an accreditation by the International Association of Business Communicators based on real-world experience in public relations. I also completed a 200-hour program to certify yoga teachers, a pursuit that has been more about enrichment than achievement. (No, I can’t do a headstand.)
A failure to stay in one place has probably cost me in some ways, but it comes in very handy for making some people feel more stable than they actually are. I’m a decent cook and a terrible but passionate golfer whose only earthly devotions are family, friends, and freedom from bondage. No pets, no plants, and no children other than the ones I happily borrow from friends and family.
